Volunteer Opportunities

Our dedicated volunteers are essential to our ability to provide our clients with a wide array of services.  While we do not currently have any on-site volunteer activities, there are lots of ways you can help.

Bethesda Cares does not accept volunteers who have been convicted of violent crimes, crimes of a sexual nature, or identity theft crimes. Bethesda Cares reserves the right to decline any volunteer or to limit which days or hours a volunteer can work and the right to dismiss a volunteer at any time during their scheduled time.

Lunchtime Workers

Our lunchtime worker positions are currently filled, but if you are interested, please fill out our volunteer intake form and we will contact you when there is an opening! Please note, volunteers are needed Monday through Friday, on-site, 9 am to 11 am.

Special Projects

Church mission projects? Eagle Scout project? School Community Service project? Work group? Whether you would like to plan a special event for Bethesda Cares’ clients, hold a food, clothing or toiletry drive or host a fundraiser, we are happy to work with you to make your inspiration a reality. Use your own gifts and creativity to help Bethesda Cares in ways that are meaningful to you. Please email info@Bethesdacares.org

Organize a Drive

Our Outreach Team gives out more than 2,500 pairs of socks each year! Having a sock collection party can be a great way to help children and families support Bethesda Cares. Please consider collecting socks that are men’s size large and merino wool.

Children Can Help, Too

Want to get your children involved?  We have age-appropriate ideas for elementary-aged children and up, such as making assembling bagged snack packs.

Email us (info@Bethesdacares.org) with any additional questions.
